The monsoon season begins in June and brings the much welcome rain thereby bringing down the temperatures and the state does look amazingly beautiful wrapped in a blanket of different shades of green. Though the beaches are extremely rough and it is not advisable to swim or go near it but it does make for a pretty sight and a couple can get all the privacy they want because there’s hardly any crowds to interrupt their romantic sojourn. The monsoons lasts till the month of September and since it does not attract to many tourists therefore even the hotel and airfares are available at a discounted rate.
